Can I enter location coordinates that are not in decimal degrees?
The CitSci website and mobile apps only accept coordinates in decimal degrees at this time. Check out this online converter for an easy way to convert your coordinates into decimal degrees.
Can you system extract location and time stamp information from a photo?
It isn’t currently possible for our system to extract time stamp and location information from photos. If you are a programmer interested in helping us build this feature, check out our Volunteer Distributed Developer Program. If you are a project manager that would like us to build this feature, talk to us about partnering to write a grant or scope of work.
